Sister Sally, sent me her book "Mama's Amazing
Love" for review. I was a bit reluctant, how could this book be of
interest to me? Well, after my procrastinating I
sit down with the book and thoroughly enjoyed
this wonderful work. This book is a pure
story of love, joy, pain, compassion
and a loving Christian woman "Ruby Lee Mullis
Knight." You folk will not put this book down...
Even you men!
Sister
Sally, thank you for reminding me of from whence
I came... My blessed Mother and Family.
~God bless ya! Tommy A.

I just wanted to let you know
that I just finished your book. That was one of the most wonderful stories I
have ever read. Your mother was a wonderful Christian mother. I just hope that
I can be half as devoted to my savior and family as she was. May God Bless you
all with this wonderful story I know you will and your family will treasure
forever. ~Jennifer R.

This story could have been
my grandmother...who has always been my hero. Facing a lifetime of what seemed
to be hardship and adversity, the spirit of the Lord and the true meaning of
life shine through. My grandmother raised 5 children through the depression with
no husband by her side. She supported them with a meager sewing business, and
yes, the children also worked in and outside of the home for the benefit of the
family. My father has shared so many fun and entertaining childhood stories with
us from the "good ole days", yet there were many nights they went to bed cold
and hungry.
Yet, I never heard a cross word or complaint come out of her mouth. She would
accept no government assistance. She had all she needed and in my childhood days
I often witnessed her GIVING to those she considered less fortunate!!!! when in
my eyes she, materially had nothing.
I see Ruby Lee's story as the story of my grandmother, Hattie Lee....and the
really amazing thing is they were both from Eastman, GA! What an inspiration for
those of us today! ~Jana T.

I just finished reading your
wonderful book about your dear Mom. I want to thank you for sharing about a
life that was filled with such great love and sacrifice. I know that whoever
reads this book will see the sweet love of Jesus in your Mom for her family. I
also wanted to thank you for being such a wonderful daughter. Your care and
love for your Mom was such a blessing to me! Again, thank you for your
inspiration and obedience to share your life and the life of your family in such
an open, caring way. ~ Pastor Steve M.

"A heart-warming story that will put you on a rollercoaster ride of emotion. You
will experience all the good times and not-so-good times as her family struggles
through turmoil. This book is a great read and well worth the time and effort.
You will come away from it with a better understanding of what a family can
really be when you stick together." ~Daniel S.

"This is a wonderful book. Once I started
reading it I couldn't put it down. Everyone should
read this book. I plan on putting it in our Church Library." ~Jean B.

"I worked with
a lady that shared with me your
book about your Mother and her life and the
family. I want you to know that I couldn’t
put it down until 2:30 this morning. I
started about 10:00 last night. I really
enjoyed the book. You have a God given
talent to write... Please don’t
let this one be the one and only."
~J. Brinson

"I
came home from work, with your book tucked under my
arm. I laid down my purse and papers from work and
sat down in my recliner and began to read your
family's history. It soon became time to go to bed,
so I got myself ready and continued to read in the
bed, (which isn't uncommon) I read into the wee
hours of the morning. When I woke up this morning, I
turned the light on by my bed and finished the book
before I got up. Thank you for sharing your
Mother's story with all of us. What an inspiring
"Love Story". What a testimony to the Lord's mercy
and grace poured out to a woman who was willing to
receive it. I was asking the Lord today on my way to
work to reveal to me all the areas in my life where
I haven't been willing to receive His grace. I know
He will show me and I truly want to be a woman who
can have the same testimony for the Lord that your
Mother did. May God continue to bless you and
thank you again for sharing your life story.
P.S. My Mother began devouring your book this
morning. He Lives,
~Cynthia L.

"What a
beautiful memorial and remembrance of you
mother. I have just finished your book. I could
not put it down. I cried with you as you shared
your life and your family. Truly you have a
great talent to write this outstanding book. I
know it will do well this fall in the
bookstores. In Christian friendship."
~Martha.
S. Skinner.

"Your
wonderful book arrived today I can tell you this
most honestly... at the point of reading: "if all we
have is just... bread and water we will have it
together" I started to cry, for this is how I grew
up Many a nite we had popcorn and powdered
milk for supper; the powder milk was cheap as was
the popcorn. Combining the 2 meant the milk
swelled the popcorn and our bellies were fooled into
believing we were full. At this point in time
I can say truthfully wonderfully written, painfully
wondrous, and the photos are just gravy on the
biscuit. What a beautiful family you have.
This book is the perfect example of relating
infinite love with tasteful elegance. May the
Creators blessins'
fall upon you like a warm summer shower." ~Terry
W.

"I
sincerely loved reading this book. I felt
Love and Respect for your Most Amazing
Mother. Also, I was truly Blessed by you
and your sibling's Love for your Mother and
each other....A Truly Gifted Family! I
highly recommend the reading of this book to
everyone. Sally, you are very much
Respected." ~Barbara
K.

"Thank
you so much for writing this book about your
precious Mama and your Family, Your
Mama was one strong lady to have struggled
and endured so much - yet she kept her
family together. She was a stronger
woman than I could ever be. Our Mamas
had to be strong. God gave them
strength and courage for the battles they
faced daily in raising a large family.
Thanks for allowing me to travel down memory
lane as I read your book - very well
written! Love to you and your sweet
family." ~Dorothy B.
